The Icma Atelier

It's a big, bright, functionally furnished room designed to be a lively and dynamic place, where art directors and packaging designers can draw inspiration from an archive gathering nearly nine decades’ worth of styles and trends.

Large albums contain papers, proposals, experiments, and various materials to be browsed, admired, touched, and felt. This treasure trove of inspiration has been dedicated by Icma to all creative professionals who need specific stylistic references or simply want to spark their own imaginations.

Matilde Carcano, who founded Icma in 1933, also inspired the atelier. Come and discover the contributions of ideas and creativity made by the women who successively led Icma after Matilde: Elena, Silvia, and now Elena Maria Carla.

The atelier bears witness to the past while looking towards the future.
